Per tablet, 2g D-Mannose

Dosage form
Effervescent tablets to be taken orally.

Usage
Dissolve one effervescent tablet containing 2g of D-Mannose in 200 mL of water and drink immediately.
> to treat an acute bladder infection: 2x 1 effervescent tablet daily.
> to prevent recurrent bladder infections: 1x 1 effervescent tablet daily.

Active ingredient

The active ingredient, D-Mannose, has clearly proven its worth as a supportive therapy measure and in the prevention of recurrent bladder infections. This monosaccharide also occurs naturally in the body. It attaches itself to the receptors of E. coli bacteria, preventing them from attaching to the epithelial cells of the bladder wall. When the bladder is emptied, the bacteria are simply flushed out. This provides effective support to the bladder’s natural defences.
