For healthy female flora.

Stress, poor nutrition, hormonal fluctuations and a weakened immune system can all disturb the natural balance of the vaginal flora. With the help of lactobacilli you can support the regeneration of a healthy environment in your vagina and accelerate the restoration of the natural pH level.
Our bodies are very sensitive to external influences, and the natural balance of the vaginal flora can easily be disturbed. The resultant symptoms have a negative impact on physical and psychological well-being. Often, they also impact sexuality within a relationship. Treatment with antibiotics can also lead to the “good” bacteria, lactobacilli, being killed, disturbing the body’s natural defences. Yeast and pathogenic bacteria multiply, this can result in symptoms such as itchiness, burning, discharge and painful urination.
How can the vaginal environment be restored when the pH level is too high? It’s very simple. You can stabilise and regenerate your vaginal flora by locally administering live lactobacilli in the form of Vagiflor®.
If the pH level in the vagina is too high, live lactobacilli in the form of Vagiflor® vaginal suppositories can help to restore a healthy vaginal flora. If a bacterial vaginal infection has already developed, antibiotic treatment will be necessary. But after a course of antibiotics, too, a treatment with Vagiflor® is advisable, as the antibiotics destroy not only the harmful bacteria but also the “good” ones.
You can support the regeneration of a healthy vaginal flora by using Vagiflor® vaginal suppositories for several days after a course of antibiotics, accelerating the restoration of the natural acidic pH level. The vaginal suppositories introduce new bacteria into the genital area that produce lactic acid, restoring the physiologically natural, and thus healthy, pH level.
It is best to insert Vagiflor® vaginal suppositories deep into the vagina at night before going to sleep. During the normal 6-day treatment period, Vagiflor® can be stored at room temperature without reducing its effectiveness. For longer storage, the package should be kept refrigerated to ensure a high level of live lactobacilli in the product. More information is available in the Product Information. section.
Bacterial vaginosis is often described as a bacterial infection. In fact, it is an imbalance (bacterial dysbiosis) of the naturally occurring bacteria in the vagina. Lactobacilli — lactic acid bacteria — can help to restore the balance.Read on
